As they chat it turns out that they have much more in common than they thought. Gary Higgs is a local man who has lost his wife and Babs is a woman on her way to Australia to escape a past trauma.
The play features two fine actors in Damien Bennett, who plays Gary and Mary Mahon, who takes on the role of Babs.
The second offering of the night is ‘Deadman’s Bells’ written by Meabh de Brún. For this play Damien Bennett takes on the role of director.
This dark comedy is a Gothic rural tale of inheritance, rivalry and misdeeds told by three sisters.
