Longford duo Jamsie Martin (Dromard) and John Coyle (Mostrim) have earned the distinction of selection for Ireland in the Masters Football International Rules Series against Australia next March.
The evergreen Jamsie, who turned back the clock to score a cracking goal for his club in this year’s Senior Championship semi-final against Clonguish, is named on the Irish over 40s squad while John will represent his country in the over 50s International Rules Series.
Congratulations also to Kevin Hourican (Dromard) who is part of the management team for Ireland’s over 50s masters squad.
