GOLF CLUB 55
Showers were part of Thursday morning experience before the golf game last week. Another discomfort was the shower experienced when playing the 9-hole golf competition. Rain wasn’t the only discomfort as a very cold strong wind also made its impression during the day.
Jimmy Leavy was the overall top golf achiever as he recorded 19pts, to which he supported with a par on the index one hole, the sixth. Liam Faughnan was next with his score of 18 pts, which was supported with a par and three points on the 7th hole. Liam Keane recorded 16pts, which won him the third spot.
Weather conditions (it seems!) didn’t allow a birdie to be recorded on any of the nine holes played! Pars were recorded by John Kavangh and Kieran O’Brien on the 2nd and Jimmy Leavy when playing the 6th.
Congratulations to Jimmy Leavy, Liam Faughnan, and James Finnan, who were rewarded with one of the hamper prizes, which they won on the previous Thursday’s competition.
Please play for Joe McGreal’s sponsored prize on this Thursday as his prize may generate a lot of heat and comfort for the winner!
