Gardaí seized thousands of euro worth of designer items and cash during a pre-Christmas Longford house raid.
A Garda spokesperson outlined that on Wednesday, December 20, members of the Mayo/Roscommon/Longford Divisional Drugs Unit executed a search warrant under the Misuse of Drugs Act at a residence in Longford.
During the course of that search, cash of €2,000 along with designer clothing, hand bags, shoes and perfumes worth in excess of €16,000 were seized.
No arrests were made in this phase of the investigation.
Enquiries are ongoing.
