Longford County Council to introduce special speed limit on N4 at Newtownforbes
A special speed limit is being introduced to facilitate the N4 Newtownforbes to Clooniher pavement rehabilitation scheme.
The change of speed limit from 100km/h to 60 Km/h shall commence from March 1, 2024 for the duration of the works, subject to a maximum period of 12 months in accordance with the provisions of Section 10(2) of the Act.
The change of speed limit will apply to the National Primary Road N4 Newtownforbes to Clooniher from Easting 610924, Northing 780025 to Easting 608533, Northing 782879.
