Construction of Longford housing development receives go ahead from county planners
Longford County Council planners have decided to approve a planning application for a 10 home development in Kenagh subject to 13 conditions.
John and Sandra Conlon made the application for the development at Mosstown, Kenagh, Longford.

The application is for the proposed construction of a residential development of 10 dwelling houses. The properties will consist of eight two-bedroom two-storey terraced dwellings and two three-bedroom two-storey semi-detached dwellings.
Also included in the plans are provisions for the proposed entrance and access from the adjoining residential estate known as “Deerpark”, the boundary fences and walls, a green open space.

The planning application covers the proposed connections to the existing foul sewer, surface water and watermain networks and all ancillary site works.
There were eight submissions on the file, two from Irish Water, and the remaining from private individuals. The decision comes with 13 conditions attached.

The local authority received the application last September, the decision has been reached, but approval will not be confirmed until a four week period has elapsed to allow for appeals.
