Horrific! Two live kittens dumped from moving car on Longford / Roscommon road

The ISPCA is appealing for information in relation to a horrific incident in which it is believed that at least two live kittens were dumped from a moving car.
The incident, which occurred earlier this week (on Tuesday evening, July 9) on the Scramogue Road near Tarmonbarry in County Roscommon, was witnessed by a member of the public who initially thought that the occupants of the vehicle were discarding rubbish, until one of the kittens scrambled to the edge of the road.
Volunteers from Roscommon SPCA rushed to the scene and sadly found a deceased white kitten with a black tail.
Searches failed to find the other kitten which it is believed was also dumped.
If anyone has any information about this incident, or recognises the kittens, we encourage them to call our confidential national animal cruelty helpline on 0818 515 515, or email us on helpline@ispca.ie
