Collection envelopes stolen after Mass from church in Offaly
Gardai are investigating after collection envelopes were stolen after Mass from a church in Offaly.
A number of collection envelopes, containing small quantities of money, were stolen from Birr's Catholic Church shortly after the last Mass on Sunday, June 30.
A Garda spokesperson said the amount of cash taken was small.
According to gardai, CCTV footage has been harvested and they are following a line of inquiry.
