Eleven new apartments to be developed in centre of Longford Town pending approval

Eleven new apartments are set to be developed in the centre of Longford Town pending planning approval.

A planning application was submitted to Longford County Council last week (August 3) by Mynah Unlimited Company for the change of use and building works to alter an existing building at the Market Square.

If granted, the development will comprise ten two-bed apartments (three on the first floor, four on the second floor and three on the third floor) along with one one-bed apartment.

The provision of bin, bike and bulk storage areas along with communal spaces and all associated site development works are included.

A decision on the application is expected by the end of September 2024.
