A decision on the application is expected in mid-September

Changes to pitch at Longford Rugby Club to get underway pending planning approval

Changes to the artificial grass pitch at Longford Rugby Club will get underway following the receipt of planning approval. 

The club in Demesne, Co Longford submitted a planning application to Longford County Council  for the erection of ball stop netting along the eastern boundary of the existing pitch. 

If granted, the netting will be fixed to the pitch lighting poles. 

A decision is expected in mid-September this year.
