It could by you!! Country's newest millionaire bought winning Euromillions ticket in Leitrim
A Leitrim Lotto player is €1 million richer, it has been confirmed by the National Lottery.
The player in Leitrim took the title of newest National Lottery millionaire in the Friday, September 6 draw after scooping the €1 million amount in the special Ireland Only Raffle, in addition to the usual €5,000 Raffle prize.
The winning Raffle code was: I-RCJ-65292
The National Lottery is now urging EuroMillions players in Leitrim to check their tickets very carefully today as one player now has a ticket worth an incredible €1,005,000.
The winner is advised to sign the back of their ticket and to keep it safe. They should contact the prize claims team on 1800 666 222 or email mailto:claims@lottery.ie and arrangements will be made for them to collect their prize in Lotto HQ.

Every player in Ireland who purchased a ticket for last night’s draw were automatically entered into the ‘Ireland Only Raffle’ with the unique Raffle number that appeared on their ticket. As with every EuroMillions draw, the ‘Ireland Only Raffle’ sees 10 raffle codes generated with each winning €5,000. One of these ten winners then had an additional €1 million added to their prize which resulted in the Leitrim player winning an even bigger prize than usual.
The National Lottery will announce the winning store location today Sunday, September 8.
National Lottery spokesperson Sarah Orr said: "I imagine there are big celebrations taking place in Leitrim today after one player took the title of Ireland’s newest millionaire. September promises to be a big month for our players with €1 million guaranteed to be won in four draws across the month. The September 6 draw was the first draw of the ‘4 more millionaires’ promotion with a special Ireland Only Raffle.

"This resulted in a Leitrim player scooping €1,005,000 in the Raffle, instead of the usual €5,000 for the prize tier. We are advising all of our players in Leitrim to carefully check their tickets today for the Raffle code I-RCJ-65292 as that is the ticket worth a life-changing amount. The winner should make contact with our prize claims team who will make arrangements for them to visit our Winners Room and collect the incredible amount".

"Over 64,000 players in Ireland won prizes in the EuroMillions and EuroMillions Plus draws on Friday night with the Leitrim player of course taking the title of biggest winner of the night in Ireland. As the €149,017,789 jackpot was won by a player in Belgium, Tuesday’s jackpot is now guaranteed to be €17 million".
