The following road and junctions will be closed to facilitate the Longford Halloween Parade

To facilitate the Fire & Shadows Halloween Procession 2024 the following road will be temporarily closed.

The Parade route is from Mollaghans Carpark (L-3011-0 Earl Street) turning left onto Ballymahon Street, proceeding down Main Street, Bridge Street and into Connolly Barracks.

The route will be closed from 6pm to 9pm.

The route will be including the junctions of:

  • Battery Road (R-198) and Abbeycartron (L-7003-0)
  • Church Street (R-198) and Fee Court (L-31121-0)
  • Main Street (R198) and Little Water Street (L-7001-0)
  • Great Water Street (L-3002-0) and Camlin View (L-3017-0)
  • Sandy Row (L-4014-0) and Richmond Street (L-3025-0)
  • New Street (N63-594) and Dublin Street (N63-592)
  • Dublin St (N63-592) and Dublin Road (R393-232)
  • Ballymahon Road (L-3010-0) and Park Road (L-3007-0)
  • Ballymahon Street (L-3011-0) and Market Square (N63-587)
  • Harbour Row (L-3012-0) and Market Square (N63-588)
  • Connaught Road (L-1175-0) and Flancare Road (L-1176-0)
  • Kilashee St (N63) and Flancare Road (L-1176-0)

All through traffic is requested to use the the N4 & N5 Longford Town By-passes.
