Winter wedding bells ring as Longford Prime Time presenter Fran McNulty ties the knot with RTÉ colleague

Prime Time presenter Fran McNulty tied the knot with his fellow RTÉ colleague Doireann O'Hara over the weekend.

The Longford native previously held the post of Agriculture and Consumer Affairs Correspondent, Prime Time and Morning Ireland presenter as well as reporting for RTÉ News for radio, television and online.

An award-winning journalist, Fran began his career in Shannonside Northern Sound radio, where he worked as a current affairs presenter and Agriculture Editor before joining RTÉ in 2005.

Sharing a photo of the newlyweds to his X account, McNulty added the caption: "After a beautiful weekend celebrating our wedding, the out of office is on and some time away celebrate some more!"

Among the guests at Fran and Doireann's big day was his Prime Time co-host Miriam O'Callaghan who shared a series of snaps to Instagram. 

She said in the post: "It was such a special day yesterday celebrating the wedding of the beautiful couple @franmcnulty & @dee_tv_irl - gorgeous couple & all of us Prime Time & RTÉ folk had a truly wonderful day.
