The members of the Longford Westmeath branch of Down Syndrome Ireland will be premiering their Short film in the Backstage Theatre
Members of the Longford Westmeath Branch of Down Syndrome Ireland, who are Longford based, made a short film over the summer called Skool of Rock, with Screen Writer and Film Editor Liam Izzard. The film showcases the amazing talent and ability to be found within the Down Syndrome Community.

This film will have its première in Backstage Theatre Longford on Thursday, December 12 and will be a fundraising event for the Branch. All the money raised for Longford Westmeath Branch is used in our area to improve and enhance the lives of our members with Down Syndrome and to support their families. The entirety of our funds come from fund raising and donations.
