There was a huge range of crafts and gifts on offer
The Newtownforbes annual pre-Christmas Artisan and Craft Charity Fair recently took place at the GAA complex Newtownforbes.
The gathering is becoming the annual herald of the festive season in the busy village. The community spirit of Newtownforbes was on display as the citizens turned out in force for the craft fair in aid of a very worthy cause.

There was a huge range of crafts and gifts for all Christmas needs on offer with a wide range of stalls on the day from all of our local crafters. The charity beneficiary of this year's event was St Christopher’s Special School.
The craft fair is organised by Olive Quinn and Ann Devlin. There was also free children's competition on the day and of course the renowned raffle with a fabulous hamper as first prize. Those in attendance had lots of fun, and refreshments were available.
