The primary schools table quiz is one of the biggest events in the Credit Union calendar. The quiz is very much in the spirit of the credit union movement and the role they play in communities.

It’s about promoting education and engagement within local communities, and they are proud that it is such a fixture for so many.

North Midlands Credit Union was thrilled to have their schools quiz back for another year and to also see the huge turnout of students, parents and teachers.

There are over 70 schools within the North Midlands Credit Union common bond and with space constraints in venues, much like last year, they deemed it necessary to hold two quizzes over two nights.

The first quiz was held in The Mall, Longford on Friday, February 7 while the second quiz was held on Monday, February 10 in the Mullingar Park Hotel.

Twenty-two Longford schools were represented at The Mall on February 7, which made up 38 teams with 152 pupils taking part.
