Twenty-two Longford schools and 152 pupils took part in the North Midlands Credit Union quiz in The Mall. In Competition A (under 11 years of age), first place was Fermoyle NS, second St Mel’s NS Ardagh and in third was St Mary’s NS, Edgeworthstown. In Competition B (under 13 years of age), first place was Stonepark NS, followed by Melview NS in second and third was Colehill NS.
