Rehearsals in full  swing for Longford musical ‘Me And My Girl’

A glimpse from the rehearsals with Musical Director Fintan Farrelly putting a couple of the principal characters Liam Brady (playing Bill Snibson) and Declan Neville (playing Sir John Tremayne) through their paces as St Mel’s Musical Society get closer and closer to show week.

The eagerly awaited local production of  'Me And My Girl' will run from Monday 21 April to Saturday 26 April in St Mel's College Sports Hall with fully tiered seating and the usual powerful live orchestra. 

Featuring such favourite musical numbers as ‘Leaning on a Lamp Post’, ‘The Lambeth Walk’, ‘The Sun Has Got His Hat On’ and the theme song ‘Me And My Girl’, along with other classic tunes, this is a show not to be missed and early booking is advised.
