The death occurred unexpectedly surrounded by his loving family on Monday, March 17, 2025 of Sean Donnelly Kiltycreevagh, Ballinamuck, Co Longford N39 Y7F3.

Predeceased by his parents Tom and Chris Donnelly, brother T.P and sister Teresa. He will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his wife Phyllis, Children Mark, Sean, Michael, Gerard, Martina and Declan, sisters Annette and Chrissie, brothers Brian and Leslie, daughters-in-law Rebecca, Laura and Sarah, Martina’s partner Larry, grandchildren Charley, Connor, Adam, Chloe, Ava, Liam, Croía and Anna, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, good friends and neighbours. Reposing at his residence in Kiltycreevagh, Ballinamuck, Co Longford (Eircode N39 Y7F3) on Thursday, March 20 from 4pm until 8pm. Funeral Mass on Friday, March 21 in St. Patrick's Church, Ballinamuck at 11am, followed by burial in Ballinamuck new Cemetery. Rosaleen Lennon (née Gaffney), Ballinalee, Longford / Crosserlough, Cavan

The death occurred peacefully at the Manor Nursing Home Edgeworthstown surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, March 19, 2025 of Rosaleen Lennon (née Gaffney), Lislea, Ballinalee, Co Longford and formerly of Crosserlough, Co Cavan. Predeceased by her husband Paddy, brother's Cathal and Hubert and sister Maura. Deeply regretted by her loving son Padraig and his partner Karen, sisters Bridie and Lucy, nephews, nieces, extended family, friends and neighbours. May Rosaleen Rest In Peace. 

Reposing at the Manor Nursing Home Chapel on Thursday evening March 20 from 6pm to 8pm. Funeral mass on Friday, March 21 at 12 noon in The Holy Trinity Church, Ballinalee with burial afterward in St Emer's Cemetery, Ballinalee. House Private Please. Donations to Residents Care Fund Manor Nursing Home care of Farrell's Funeral Director, Ballinalee.

Patrick Hevehan, Clonmee, Newtowncashel, Longford

The death occurred peacefully on Wednesday, March 19, 2025 of Patrick Hevehan, Clonmee, Newtowncashel, Longford. Predeceased by his parents Thomas and Bridget, brother Thomas, son T.J. and by his beloved wife Catherine.

Patrick will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his family, daughter Mary, sisters Margaret and Christina, nieces, nephew, relatives, neighbours and friends. May he rest in peace.

Reposing at Glennon’s Funeral Home, Ballinalee Road (N39 EC81) on Saturday, March 22 from 5pm concluding with prayers at 7pm. Mass of the Resurrection on Sunday, March 23 in the Church of the Blessed Virgin, Newtowncashel at 1pm. Interment afterwards in Cashel Cemetery. The Funeral Mass will be streamed live HERE

Ellie Tynan, Micknagh, Killoe, Co Longford

The death occurred peacefully in the care of the staff of Laurel Lodge Nursing Home on Sunday, March 16, 2025 of Ellie Tynan Micknagh, Killoe, Co Longford.

Predeceased by her parents John and Ellen, brother Peter, sisters Kathleen and Anna-May. Ellie will be remembered with love by her family, nephews Peter and Martin, niece Catherine, grand-nephew Thomas, grand-nieces Helen, Kayleigh, Siobhan and Martina, cousins, neighbours and friends. Always in our thoughts, forever in our hearts. Rest in peace Ellie.

Reposing in Laurel Lodge Nursing Home, Chapel on Friday, March 21 from 6pm concluding with prayers at 7.30pm. Removal on Saturday, March 22 to arrive to St Oliver's Church, Cullyfad for Funeral Mass at 12 noon. Following Mass, Ellie will be laid to rest in the family plot in the adjoining cemetery.

Carmel Flynn (née Farrell), Mountdillon, Curraghroe, Roscommon / Bornacoola, Leitrim

The death occurred in the gentle care of the Staff of Roscommon Hospice, surrounded by her family on Tuesday, March 18, 2025 of Carmel Flynn (née Farrell), Mountdillon, Curraghroe, Co Roscommon and formerly Cloonmorris, Bornacoola, Co Leitrim. Predeceased by her parents Tom and Mary Farrell and her daughters Eimer and Clare. Sadly missed by her son Peter, daughter in Law Fiona, grandson Sam, brothers in law, sisters in law, nieces, nephews, relatives neighbours and friends. May Carmel Rest in Peace.

Reposing at Leavey’s Funeral Home Scramogue (F42FD78) Friday, March 21 from 5pm until 6.30 followed by removal to in St. Cecilia’s Church, Curraghroe (F42 AF82) arriving at 7.30pm. Funeral Mass on Saturday, March 22 at 12 noon can be watched live HERE followed by burial in Cloontuskert cemetery. Joe Fallon, Sutton, Dublin / Lanesboro, Roscommon

The death occurred peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, March 19, 2025 of Joe Fallon, Sutton, Dublin 13 and formerly of Lanesboro, Co Roscommon and late of Joe Fallon Motors.  

Beloved husband of the late Catherine and predeceased by his cherished daughter Aisling, his parents Frank and Lena, siblings Cyril, Gabriel and Des. Joe will be deeply missed by his loving daughter Deirdre, sons Rónán and Gearóid, son-in-law Mark, daughter-in-law Dee, his adored grandchildren Amelia, Joseph and Alannah, his sisters-in-law Maureen Fallon and Betty Doris, nieces, nephews, extended family, great friends and neighbours. “Solas síoraí dá anam uasal".

Reposing in Staffords Funeral Home, Golf Links Road, Portmarnock on Saturday, March 22 from 2pm to 4pm.     Martin Gilhooly, Clondalkin, Dublin / Finea, Westmeath

    The death occurred peacefully, in the kind care of all the staff of Our Lady’s Hospice, Harold’s Cross on Sunday, March 16, 2025 of Martin Gilhooly Clondalkin and late of Finea, Co Westmeath.

    Beloved partner and best friend of Elizabeth, loving father of Mark, Nichola, Jonathan and the late David and remembering their late mother Anne. Martin will be very dearly missed by his heartbroken partner, children, grandchildren David, Chloe, Jamie, Aaron, Megan, Lee, Luke, Dylan, Sarah, Amy and Sam, sister Mary, brother Seamus, nephew Mark, relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends especially all at Newlands Castle Park F.C. May Martin rest in peace.

    The death occurred peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Tuesday, March 18, 2025 of Colin Michael Baxter, Clonconnell, Lismacaffrey, Co Westmeath and formerly of Dundee, Scotland.

    Predeceased by his parents Ron and Kathleen and his brother Euan. Remembered by his wife Margaret, daughters Alice and Cathy, son-in-law Pat, darling grandchildren Páidí and Nell, sister Sheena, brother Scott, sisters-in-law Anne, Alice and Laurie, brother-in-law Stuart, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

    Sean Nulty, Dunboyne, Meath / Ballinagh, Cavan

    The death occurred peacefully in the loving care of the staff at Dunboyne Nursing Home on Monday, March 17, 2025 of Sean Nulty, Ballymacoll, Dunboyne, Co Meath and formerly of Ballinagh, Co Cavan.  

    Predeceased by his brothers Tony, Padraig, Gerry and Phelim and sisters Maura, Imelda and Paula. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving brother Kieran (Australia), sister Rita (UK), sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends. R.I.P. 

    Sean’s Service of remembrance will take place in Cunningham’s Funeral Home, Clonsilla Village on Friday evening, March 21 at 4.30pm followed by a private family Cremation. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam dílis.

    Edward (Ned) Murphy, Conlonstown, Ballynacargy, Westmeath

    It is with broken hearts that the Murphy family announce the passing of their adored father Edward (Ned) Murphy, Conlonstown, Ballynacargy, Co Westmeath, died Sunday March 16, 2025 in his 89th year, peacefully, surrounded by the love and comfort of his family.

    Predeceased by his beloved wife Violet, parents Christopher and Margaret, Parents in-law Vincent and Bridget Doherty, Brothers: Nick, Pat, Jim, Kiddy and baby John, his Sisters: Lizzie, Kathy, Minnie and Peg, brother in-laws, sisters in-law, cousins, nieces and nephews. Adored and wonderful father to Ruth, Margaret, Dawn, Jean, Edward and Leon, sons in law; Ollie and Garry, and cherished grandchildren: Dylan, Ruby & Emily.

    Sadly missed and forever loved and remembered by his sons and daughters, his sister Nancy (Cavan), brothers in law, sisters in law, nieces and nephews, relatives, great friends, neighbours and wider community. Those we love don't go away; they walk beside us every day. Wherever a beautiful soul has been there has been a trail of beautiful memories. We take comfort in faith knowing Daddy is re-united with our beloved mother Violet, his parents and family, friends and neighbours in his now forever heavenly home.

    Reposing at the Bereavement Suite Mullingar Hospital Mortuary, on Friday, March 21 from 3pm to 6pm. Rosary at 7pm in our home. House private thereafter. Funeral mass on Saturday, March 22 at 11am in The Church of the Nativity, Ballynacargy, Co Westmeath followed by burial in Sonna Cemetery.

        Sr Dominica (Peggy) O'Reilly, Rathbracken, Granard, Longford / Ballymote, Sligo

        The death occurred peacefully, in her 96th year, in West Leaderville, Perth, Australia, in the loving care of St John of God's Convent Sisters and her nephew, Kevin Gallagher on Friday, February 21, 2025 of Sr Dominica (Peggy) O'Reilly, late of Rathbracken, Granard, Co Longford and formerly of St John of God Convent, Dun Bhrid, Ballymote, Sligo. 

        Predeceased by her parents, brothers and sisters, most recently her Sister Joan Gallagher, Rathbracken. Peg will be sadly missed by her Brother Tommy O'Reilly (Newry), Sisters Ellen Float (UK), Liz McNerney and Bridie Myericks (USA), nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.

        A Memorial Mass will be offered in Peg's memory on March 21 at 7.30pm in St Mary's Church, Granard. Peg will be laid to rest in Perth. May she rest in eternal peace.
