Uisce Éireann crews restore normal water supply to Granard's homes and businesses after a significant network burst

Uisce Éireann crews have restored normal water supply to Granard's homes and businesses after a significant network burst.

The burst affected Granard Town, Moat, Bunlahy, Springtown, Aughnagarron, Tonywarden, Granardkille and surrounding areas in Co Longford.

David Gibbons, Water Operations Lead for Longford, thanked the affected customers for their cooperation during the repair works. Uisce Éireann acknowledges the disruption that can be caused by an unplanned outage such as this burst,  and we wish to thank customers in the area for their patience while these repair works were underway."

Vulnerable customers registered with Uisce Éireann receive direct communications from us for planned and unplanned outages lasting more than four hours.
