Just two weeks until Longford's beloved Camlin Keys Festival

The festival will have something for everyone such as workshops, performances and much more

Just two weeks until Longford's beloved Camlin Keys Festival

Camlin Keys Festival

With just over two weeks to go, Camlin Keys Festival has something for everyone over the 3rd and 4th, May Bank Holiday.

In addition to our previously announced workshops, we are delighted that Danna Davis will be delivering a Vocal Play workshop.  A voice workshop with singing games and exercises to strengthen young voices, suitable for facilitators or leaders of youth drama, singing teachers, and youth choral directors.

Diversifying our music genres further, we have Shane Kennedy delivering It Might Get Loud! This hands-on guitar clinic dives deep into the theory and technique that fuel unforgettable performances. So, whether you’re a soulful blues shredder, a raw punk rebel, or a high-voltage rock ‘n’ roll machine, you’ll learn how to use musical knowledge and technical precision to express yourself with power and authenticity—on stage and off. Walk away with the tools to craft better solos, tighten up your rhythm chops, and own the stage like a pro.

Another new workshop for 2025, Songwriting with FEEF, professional singer, songwriter and recording artist. Equipping you with the tools it takes to make great songs and how to get the most out of your ideas, touching on areas such as; song structure, melody, lyrics, all aspects of creating and performing your work.  Included in this workshop is the process behind taking your ideas from basic songs to well produced numbers and how to get them on streaming platforms and radio. Whether you’re a total newbie, aspiring songwriter, or somebody who wants to take their songwriting to the next level this workshop will talk you through how to bring your creative ideas to life.
