Country music fans in Longford are all set for a festival extravaganza with the Day- Time Barn Dance in aid of Mary's Meals.
Mary's Meals is a global movement that sets up school feeding programmes in the world's poorest communities, where hunger and poverty prevent children from gaining an education.
Local country and Irish fans are getting ready for an unforgettable afternoon of music, moves, and memories at Longford’s Daytime Barn Dance.

Whether you're a jiver, a line dancer, or just love a good ol' toe-tap, this is the place to be. Dancing and music fans are called to dust off those dancing boots for this barn dance.
Live Music By: Pascal & Davey, Sean Hussey, Brendan Kelly, Brid Shaughnessy, Claudia Buckley, and the one and only Robert Mizzell.

There will be a range of activities including a Line Dancing competition for the best group dance on the day. There is also a Jiving Competition with big prizes and so much more.
Check out the Children’s Talent Show running from 2:00pm to 4:00pm and is open to children who are in 4 to 6 class. There is a Kids Disco featuring BLUEY, and Peppa Pig will be there to party with the little ones.
There is a dress to impress, with prizes for the best dressed cowboy and cowgirl. All proceeds will go to Mary's Meals Longford.
