Secretary of Longford Vintage Club Miceal Nolan is looking forward to the big event and he is confident that they can improve on the highly successful 2024 show.
"This year we have even more to offer the public.
"So, yes we have a vintage show but we also have a family fun day and we are trying to encourage the whole family to come along and make a day of it."
An estimated 2,500 people attended the Longford Vintage Show last year and Miceal expects that up to 3,000 spectators will be at Connolly Barracks for the annual event.
Miceal said the future classics section will include vehicles that are 20 years old and older.
"I suppose that is geared towards the younger audience who would remember the likes of the Ford Escort, Sierra and Fiesta."

He said a wide range of entertainment options will be on offer for the children in attendance, including face painting, a variety of games, free train rides around the army barracks, an ice cream van and much more.
Miceal stated another entertaining attraction will be a motorbike stunt show.
And what’s more, all of it is for free.
The children's entertainment will once again be spearheaded by Corvenieos Entertainment, a locally-based firm that boasts over 300 years of experience behind them.
Miceal said excitement is building as the club's main and most eagerly awaited events of the year approaches.
"We're very much dependent on the weather.
"But we've been very lucky and we always sort of come good on the day and hopefully this year will be the same and the weather is on our side."
Miceal, as he paid tribute to Longford County Council for the use of their Sean Connolly Barracks premises.
Longford Vintage Club was founded in 2005 in Drumlish by Harry McKenna, Kevin Phelan (RIP) and Gerry Donnelly (RIP) and it has since become a Longford community hub of activity, moving into Connolly Barracks in 2012.
The club, which currently has between 80 and 100 enthusiastic and dedicated members.
Miceal said they hold an annual tractor run, an annual car run and they have an annual member's barbecue at Connolly Barracks.
He also told of even more attractions on the day, which will also feature a dog show, live music, a special appearance from Farmer Phil and helicopter rides.
Miceal has thanked Longford County Council for their assistance, the LWETB for the use of their premises and Longford Tourism Office.
"I'd also like to thank the club members and the committee of Longford Vintage Club for their hard work throughout the year in helping both promote and run the show every year."
