Longford man takes the reins as principal of Cavan primary school

Best wishes are extended to Aiden Reynolds, Aughaboy, Coolarty who has taken over as school principal in Mullahoran National School. 

“We know you will have many happy days out there Aiden and those great people will look after you real well,” wrote Sean Kilbride, Longford Leader Bunlahy notes correspondent.

Aiden was formerly principal at St Bernard’s National School in Abbeylara.

Fourteen new boys and girls recently started school for the first time at Mullahoran NS. 

Mullahoran correspondent Kathy Donohoe wrote, “A special welcome to new principal Aidan Reynolds who replaces Fionnuala McGahern who retired in June last after many years of dedicated service in the school and we wish her good health and a happy retirement in the years ahead.

“Also thanks to teacher Deirdre Shaughnessy who was in charge for the past while.”
