It is understood there were have been lengthy tailbacks and traffic delays since a short time after 8am this morning
Emergency services are at the scene of a traffic collision on the N4 in county Longford this morning.
It is believed the collision occurred shortly after 8am this morning.
A Garda spokesman said, "Gardaí are currently attending a two-vehicle traffic collision that occurred on the N4 at Lacken, Co Longford.
It is understood there were have been lengthy tailbacks and traffic delays since a short time after 8am this morning.
