A motorcyclist has been hospitalised after he sustained serious injuries in a Westmeath crash.
Gardaí are currently at the scene of a serious road traffic collision involving a car and a motorcycle that occurred at approximately 5:30pm on Saturday, September 27, on Main Street, Rochfortbridge, Co Westmeath.
The motorcyclist, a male in his late 30s, sustained serious injuries and was taken to Tullamore Hospital for treatment.

The scene is currently preserved for a technical examination and local traffic diversions are in place.
Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to this collision to come forward.
Any road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) and were travelling through Rochfortbridge between 5:15pm and 5:45pm are asked to make this footage available to Gardaí.
