The Tarmonbarry road race has 3 distances, 3/4 marathon, half marathon and 8k
MARATHON DAY:
Preparations are in full swing for the annual St Barry's Marathon Day, which takes place on Sunday, October 5.
Our hardworking committee are already mustering up the hardworking team of road marshals, caterers, car-parkers, first aiders, registrars, and other associated volunteers, without whom the day could not take place.

Thanks in advance to everyone who makes the day such a great community endeavor, including our generous event sponsors, all of the participants remark year-on-year how well the event is run and how well they are looked after, and that doesn't happen without the help of the whole community.

The race start is at St Barry's GAA, on the N5 between Longford and Strokestown. It is advised to collect your race number the evening before the marathon.
