Longford farm featuring 'excellent fattening land' expected to attract much interest at auction

A Longform farm featuring “excellent fattening land” is set to go up for sale via public auction.

The site, which is 33-acres in size, is located in Edgeworthstown, Co Longford. It contains a derelict residence, a range of outbuildings and one or more lots.

Murtagh Bros, who are in charge of the sale, describe the site’s road frontage onto the L5164 as “excellent”.

They estimate the property to be valued at approximately €250,000.

Murtagh Bros will hold a public auction for the farm on Wednesday, October 15 at 3pm at their auction rooms at an address of Main Street, Enfield, Co Meath.

Anyone looking to bid at the auction must register to do so beforehand by contacting Murtagh Bros on 044-9342512. The deadline to do so is Friday, October 10.

Those who wish to bid must also submit proof of identification and submit a deposit of €25,000. The successful bidder’s deposit will become non-refundable as soon as the property is sold.
