From cookery classes to social dancing, the Longford ICA have dates booked with something for everyone

Lotto
Our Lotto was held in Ballymahon on Wednesday last September 24, numbers drawn were 9, 14, 16, 27 and we had no jackpot winner. Congratulations to the three lucky dip winners, Teresa Dooner, Caroline Lambe and Mary Fagan. Our next draw will be held in Keenagh on Wednesday, October 8 when the jackpot will be €900, tickets can be purchased from any guild member or from Bells shop Newtownforbes, thanks to all who continue to support our lotto and to the guilds for hosting.

Knit and stitch
This years knit and stitch show will be held in the Eikon Exhibition Centre Lisburn and we will be running a bus on Saturday, November 15, the bus will be open to all , however you must purchase your own tickets, early bird tickets are available until Sunday, November 2 so now is the time to purchase them. Anyone interested in travelling please contact Virginia on 086 2036542 so you can be added to the list for the bus.

Cookery Cup
Our cookery cup will take place on Tuesday, October 21 in ICA HQ, details of competitions are on the October page of the calendar, we will also have a speaker on the night, so put the date in your diary and we look forward to a nice evening.

Activities in ICA HQ this week, classes are open to all:
Wednesday 6 to 6.50pm Pilates.

Thursday 12.30 to 1.30pm Chairobics

8pm; Keep Fit with Line Dancing

Friday 11am to 1pm Craft Morning

Saturday 4pm to 6pm Crochet class with Virginia

Line dancing is back in the Chestnut Tree on Monday night, October 6

Social Dancing
Longford Town ICA Guild supported by Longford Nighttime economy are holding a social dancing evening on Sunday, October 12 in the Temperance Hall Longford from 6 pm to 8pm. Refreshments will be served. Music by Sean Hussey. It is a great opportunity to meet up with people to have a chat and a cup of tea even if you don't want to dance and to listen to great music. All the better if you enjoy dancing. Admission is €10. All are welcome.

Open night in Ennybegs
Ennybegs Guild meets on the 2nd Monday of the month at 8pm in the community centre.
They are looking for new members to join them and are holding an open meeting on Monday the 13th October, if there are any ladies in the area that might like to join ICA or just see what we do please feel free to come along on the night for a chat and a cuppa.

Everyone has something to offer and the ladies would love to see new faces at their meetings. Federation President Olive will be in attendance on the night and along with the ladies from Ennybegs she will answer any questions you may have.

There is no pressure on you to join, come along on the night, have a chat and sure once you come in you won't want to leave, we look forward to seeing you all on the night.
