Man (20s) hospitalised following Midlands car crash near canal bridge

Gardaí have said that the driver of the car involved in a crash in Tullamore on Friday morning sustained non-life threatening injuries.

In a statement released to our sister website Offaly Live, a spokesman said: “Gardaí and emergency services attended a single-vehicle traffic collision that occurred on the Clontarf Road in Tullamore, Co Offaly at approximately 5:55am this morning, Friday, October 3.

“The driver, a man aged in his 20s, was conveyed to Midlands Regional Hospital Tullamore for treatment of non-life threatening injuries sustained during this collision,” the spokesman added.
