The Ladies Club of County Longford Golf Club will be hosting a fashion master class with Maria Carton on Thursday, October 23 between 8pm to 10pm.

Carton, who is a professional style advisor, provides these classes for women to “feel great about themselves at every stage of life,” according to her master class website.
No local businesses are involved in this event, but the intention is to give fashion tips for women on figures, colours and combinations that go well together.
“Maria Carton gives a 2-hour class on different figures that suits people,” said Eileen Flynn, who is the Ladies Club Secretary.

Her workshops, which are hired nationally, include ideas such as dressing for your shape; achieving one's own style; wardrobe structure; outfit building and styling; staples; successful shopping; fast fashion and a Q&A. Her website delves into what the intentions of these hired master classes are.

“It’s is a fundraiser for the golf club and we are looking forward to it,” explained Eileen when asked about what made the master class come about.
There will be a raffle on thew night with some small prizes which will also contribute to the fundraiser.
