ALERT | Longford motorists warned to expect delays due to roadworks

Longford motorists are being warned to expect delays this week due to roadworks at three locations in the north of the county.

Granard Road Closure - L-51611 Ringowney / L-5056 Garvary

To facilitate road repairs on the L-51611 Ringowney / L-5056 Garvary in Granard Municipal District, the roads will be closed from Monday, October 20 to Friday, October 24 from 8am – 4pm.Traffic Management will be in place for the duration of the works. In the interest of road safety, you are requested to heed all signs.

Roadworks R-194 Ballinalee Village & Private road at its junction with L-10361     

To facilitate road repairs on the R-194 Ballinalee Village & Private road at its junction with L-10361, a Stop/Go system or Temporary Traffic Lights will be in place during the works which take place from Monday, October 20 to Friday, October 24 from 8am – 4pm. The road will remain open but short traffic delays should be expected.     

Roadworks at R395 Lisryan

To facilitate road repairs on the R395 Lisryan, a Stop/Go system or Temporary Traffic Lights will be in place during the works which take place from Wednesday, October 22 to Friday, October 24 from  8am – 4pm. The road will remain open but short traffic delays should be expected.
