Longford school 'incredibly proud' of three top performing and hard working students

St Mel's College students Ryan Keogh, Gerard Keogh and Eanna Madden achieve the top marks of 625 points in their Leaving Certificate 2025

A huge congratulations to the three top achieving Leaving Certificate students of 2025 at St Mel's College, Longford.

Despite the fantastic results achieved across the board by the entire year group, there were three students who could not have done any better in their exams. Ryan Keogh, Gerard Keogh, and Eanna Madden all achieved the highest possible result of 625 points.

These are outstanding results, and everyone at St Mel's College are incredibly proud of these three boys who worked so hard throughout their time in the school.

The boys' work ethic and the subsequent Leaving Certificate results reflects the school motto of 'Aemula Virtus', which means 'Strive for Excellence'.

The three boys were invited into the college back in September and were presented with a Certificate of Achievement by Mr Flanagan and Mrs Dolan.

They are wished the very best of luck in their third level education, and we hope that they take with them the knowledge, skills, and values they learned while studying here in St Mel's.
