Bernard (Berney) Jordan, Terlicken, Ballymahon, Longford

The death occurred peacefully surrounded by his family in the care of the doctors, nurses and staff of the Midlands Regional Hospital Mullingar on Thursday, October 30, 2025 of Bernard (Berney) Jordan, Terlicken, Ballymahon, Longford. 

Predeceased by his parents James & Catherine Jordan, sisters Eileen, Mary and Margaret, his son-in-law Ernie Ellis, daughter-in-law Mary Jordan and grandson Patrick. Deeply regretted by his loving wife Maureen, son James, daughter Mary, grandchildren Caroline, Bernard, David, Cathy, Helen, Gemma, Adam and their partners, great grandchildren Ava, James, Ellie, Killian, Sophie, Evan, Theo, Oliver, Daniel, Daisy, Hallie and Elijah, sisters Kathleen (Mahon) and Kitty (Cassells), brother Andy and brother-in-law Des, nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and neighbours. May he Rest in Peace.

Reposing at his son’s Jimmy’s residence in Barry for friends, family and neighbours from 6.30pm to 9pm this Friday, October 31. Reposing in St Matthew's Church, Ballymahon on Saturday, November 1 from 4 pm to 6pm followed by prayers. Funeral Mass on Sunday, November 2 at 1pm followed by cremation in Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan.

Maureen Drumm, Ardnacassa, Longford Town, Longford

The death occurred peacefully, in the loving care of the nurses and staff of Laurel Lodge Nursing Home on Thursday, October 30, 2025 of Maureen Drumm, Ardnacassa, Longford Town, Longford. 

Predeceased by her parents Michael and Betty. Maureen will be sadly missed and remembered with love by her family, godson Donal and his wife Amanda, cousins, extended family, relatives, neighbours and many great friends. May she rest in peace.

Reposing at Glennon’s Funeral Home, Ballinalee Road (N39 EC81) on Sunday, November 2 from 5pm concluding with prayers at 7pm. Mass of the Resurrection on Monday, November 3 in St Mel’s Cathedral at 11am, interment afterwards in Ballymacormack cemetery. The Funeral Mass will be streamed live HERE. Family flowers only please donations if desired to the Longford Branch of St.Vincent de Paul, c/o Glennon Funeral Directors or any family member.
