Longford County Council: temporary road closure in place for resurfacing work

The R194 in Rhyne will re-open tomorrow evening

Road closed

Longford County Council has announced the temporary closure of the R194 in Rhyne.

The closure is currently in place today, Thursday Nov 7, and will run until tomorrow, Friday Nov 8, from 8am until 6pm on both days.

Longford County Council says the closure is required in order to allow for the facilitation of road surfacing works.

The road will be closed either side of the entrance to Rhyne Rock Quarry and traffic management measures will be in place while the road remains off limits to motorists and cyclists.
