Colmcille Gardening Club is delighted to welcome guest speaker Una Hole back for the second time this year. Una is a horticulturist with more than 35 years of experience in both commercial and amenity horticulture.

It takes place on Thursday, December 18 at 8:30pm in the Aughnacliffe Community Centre, Aughnacliffe.

She will be demonstrating how to create Christmas floristry from your garden including Christmas scenes under-planted with bulbs, wreaths and table arrangements. This will be a hands-on demonstration and all completed arrangements will be raffled on the day.
Her career has taken her across the globe from Hillier Nurseries in the UK to the world-renowned Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden in South Africa and the Clyburn Arboretum in Baltimore, Maryland.

Since returning to Ireland, Una has worked on a number of private estates applying her expertise in plants, garden design and landscape care to some of the country’s most beautiful settings.

In June 2024 Una realised a lifelong ambition when she opened Carraig Gardens Mountnugent to the public — a project that reflects her passion for horticulture and her commitment to sharing the joy of gardens with others.

All are welcome — come along for an inspiring event.

Entry Fee: €5 (to cover expenses).
