The Late Maria Crehan, Ballyreaghan, Ballinalee, Longford
It is with much sadness and regret that we record the death of Maria Crehan of Ballyreaghan, Ballinalee, Co Longford which occurred following a short illness on Friday evening, December 12 last.
Maria was the beloved daughter of Roisin (Dempsey, Ballymore) and the late Tom Crehan and she was the dear sister of Jackie, Thomas and Desmond.
Following the death of her Dad Tom in 2020 Maria decided to move from England to be with her dear Mum Rose and since then she has provided kindness, care and most of all love for her mother and will be sorely missed by her family and friends.

Like her Dad Maria loved gardening and spent whatever little spare time she had outdoors planting vegetables etc and took great pride in watching them grow.
A keen reader Maria loved discussing and comparing books and she really missed this recently when following an illness it wasn't possible for her to read as much as she'd like to.
On Monday morning, December 8, Maria became seriously ill and was rushed to hospital where on Friday evening surrounded by her loving family she passed peacefully to her eternal reward.
