TV star Maura Higgins, who is currently about to make it big stateside with a TV debut in the US Traitors, is celebrating Christmas at home in Ballymahon.

Earlier today, the beauty posted a shot of her Tayto and Ishka purchases accompanied by the caption, "Tell me you're in Ireland without telling me you're in Ireland!"

Since she arrived home to Longford, Maura posted a picture of her Penneys haul, as well as a very sweet video of herself performing a TikTok dance that her talented 10 year-old niece had taught her.

Just minutes ago, she posted a childhood photo of her visiting Santa at the Christmas grotto in the Golden Island Shopping Centre in Athlone:

Earlier this evening however, Maura uploaded the cutest Christmas throwback of herself at just 4 years old, wearing a Bosco t-shirt on Christmas morning and standing beside one of her Santa presents, a baby pram.

Within three hours of being posted, the post accumulated almost 60,000 likes, a number that is swiftly on the rise.

The photo, which was part of a carousel of shots from December, was accompanied by the thoughtful caption:

"Wishing you all a very happy Christmas! Here’s four years old me, no understanding of the world yet….no idea what the future held or how lucky life was going to be!! Grateful for every version of me, then and now. For those of you who are struggling at this time, remember this chapter isn’t the whole story."
