Longford Vintage Club CLG held its inaugural Christmas Lights Charity Run on Sunday, December 21, raising funds for St Christopher’s, Longford and the Longford Defibrillator Group. The event proved to be a massive success, with just under €1,400 raised, which will be divided between both charities. Thanks to Longford County Council and Longford Tourism for their support in the lead-up to the event, along with An Garda Síochána in Longford for all their assistance on the day. A huge thank you also goes to all participants and to the people of Longford for the wonderful support and encouragement shown along the route. Thanks to Hanlon’s Gala, Esquire’s Longford and Würth Ireland for their generous donations of prizes for the category winners. Longford Leader / Longford Live Photographer Shelley Corcoran captured this gallery of photos and we hope you enjoy them.
