Council confirms completion of improvements at Longford school 

The works are designed to make the journey to school safer

The upgrade works were carried out at Scoil Mhuire, Clondra

Longford County Council have confirmed the completion of improvements at Scoil Mhuire Clondra. 

According to the update from the council, the works in question are “designed to make walking, cycling, and traveling to school safer and easier for students, parents, and the wider community.”

The work was carried out through the Safe Routes to School scheme, delivered by the Active Travel team and funded by the National Transport Authority.

Funded by the local democracy reporting scheme
