Longford Lights 2026 promises to be an unforgettable event

If one of your New Year's resolution is to get out more or to actively make special memories then now is your chance to put those words into action by picking up tickets to Longford Lights 2026, Ireland’s largest community light festival.

From February 19–22, Longford Town will be transformed into a sparkling wonderland of 28 illuminated artworks, magical installations, not to mention Ireland’s first-ever nighttime illuminated bicycle parade.

The theme for this year's festival is Lightly Playful and attendees can expect a family-focused celebration, filled with colour and imaginative artworks, many of which have been created by the community.

Entry to the main festival site in Connolly Barracks - which will have set entry times of 6.30pm and 8pm - is by ticket only.

Tickets are just €5 and can be purchased over on longfordlights.ie
