Edgeworthstown library, where the course will take place
Edgeworthstown Library is set to host a free climate course every Tuesday for 6 weeks, designed for people aged 55+.
Hosted by retired UN Diplomat, Jacinta Barrins, the sessions will offer relaxed and thoughtful conversations about climate issues in a friendly setting with good company. This is the perfect opportunity to learn as part of a group, to share ideas, and to take practical climate action in a relaxed, friendly environment.
The course, which aims to help the over-55’s demystify climate change, will focus on explaining in common language what climate change is and why we are asked to act.
Jacinta Barrins will explain over a cup of tea the science behind climate change so expect to be engaged and motivated as there will be lots of discussion on practical everyday actions that can be taken.
The course will begin next Tuesday, January 13 from 10.30am-12.30pm in Edgeworthstown Library, N39 F7Y8.
