The death occurred peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Friday, January 9, 2026 of Maura Kilbride-Harkin, Cartron, Granard, Longford, former Longford County Councillor, Granard Town Councillor and Peace Commissioner.
Predeceased by her husband Michael, father Senator Tom Kilbride, mother Mary Jo and brothers Sean, Seamus, Paddy and Joseph. Maura will be sadly missed by her heartbroken family, sons Michéal, Thomas, J.P and Brian, daughters Maureen, Marguerite, Paula and Breda, daughters-in-law Catherine, Eilish and Kim, sons-in-law Anthony, Paddy and Patrick, sisters Bríd, Sr Roberta and Bernadette (McGovern), brothers Thomas and Michael, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, her wonderful grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

The death occurred peacefully in the loving care of the nurses and staff at Roscommon Hospice, following a short illness bravely borne with great courage and determination on Friday, January 9, 2026 of Owen Johnston, Tarmonbarry, Co Roscommon and Clonbrock, Killashee, Co Longford and formerly of Proleek, Ravensdale, Dundalk, Co Louth.
Predeceased by his parents Mary and Owen, brother-in-law Ian and by his father-in-law PJ. The death occurred peacefully but unexpectedly in her 84th year surrounded by her loving and devoted family and in the excellent care of the staff at ICU Midland Regional Hospital Mullingar on Friday, January 9, 2026 of Nancy (Ann Marie) Mortell (née McLynn) - Woodlands, Mullingar, Co Westmeath and formerly of Darogue, Ballymahon, Co Longford and London, England.
Nancy will be forever missed by her heartbroken daughter and best friend June, devoted son Don and her adored granddaughter Aisling who were the centre of her world. Sadly missed by her son-in-law Robin, grandson-in-law Michael, her loving sisters Peggy Coplen, Liz Hanley and Kathleen Feeney, her brother Johnny, best friend Ellen, cherished goddaughter Imelda and her faithful companion Coco. Fondly remembered by her sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives and friends.
Predeceased and now reunited with her beloved and devoted big brother Paddy, baby brother Bobby, her parents John and Maria and brother-in-law Matty. May her gentle soul rest in eternal peace.

Predeceased by her husband Martin.
