Congratulations to Robbie Martin Cusworth who was baptised on Saturday, January 3 in St Colmcille’s Church, Aughnacliffe.
New Arrival
Mullinalaghta’s first new citizen of the year arrived on Friday morning with the birth of Ródha, first daughter for well-known and extremely popular couple Sinéad and Jimmy McGivney, Cloonagh, and a grandchild for Marie and Peter as well as for Patricia and Paddy Macken, Kilmore, Clondra. We’re told that the new arrival is already in fine voice and both mother and daughter are in good form and have already returned home. Given her pedigree we can be sure that this will be a sports star of the future and we wish to congratulate all the McGivney and Macken families on their new member.

We send our congratulations to Alan and Katie Croghan, Dromod on the birth of their first baby, a boy to be named Caolan, born on Sunday last and a special mention to proud grandparents Donal and Mairead Croghan, Clooneen.
