We want your work to be published for print and online

Fancy seeing your work in print? Ever wanted to be a published storyteller or poet?

This is your opportunity for 2026 to be a published writer and visual creator.

The 'Longford Leader' is bringing back Longford New Writing, a space dedicated to showcasing your creative work for publication.

We want your original submissions (prose/poetry and art/photography) to appear in print and online. Stories should be up to 500 words and poetry up to max 250.

Please put your subject line of the email as 'Longford New Writing' (followed by prose / poetry / art / photography) and have the body of the email contain the title of your work and a small bio (of 50 words) about yourself.

Please submit this to Éimear Smith at eimear.smith@longfordleader.ie
