Cuteness overload at NSPCA Longford

Ernie is a large terrapin with a huge personality and an even bigger sense of humor. About 2 years old, he’s a special-needs boy who absolutely loves attention. He enjoys being hand-fed, is very friendly, and keeps everyone entertained with his wild, goofy antics—truly the funniest little guy around.

Ernie is looking for a home with an experienced reptile keeper. He has a pyramided shell and requires daily care, including a vitamin A tablet each day. Because of his size and needs, he will require a large tank set-up with proper UV lighting, a heater, and a strong filter to help him thrive.

With the right care, Ernie will reward his adopter with tons of personality, interaction, and charm. If you have reptile experience and the space and dedication to meet his needs, Ernie is ready.
