The Late Cecilia Richardson (née Mulligan), Ballyjamesduff, Cavan / Ballinagh, Cavan
The unexpected death of Cecilia Richardson (nee Mulligan) is deeply regretted in her native Lacken and around Carn, Ballyjamesduff where she resided.
Cecilia passed away suddenly but peacefully at Cavan General Hospital on Saturday, January 31, surrounded by her loving husband Gerry and her family.
Aged only 56, Cecilia was one of a family of eight of the late Mike Joe and Rose Mulligan and her passing has left a great void in this closely-knit family.

As a camogie player with her native club she gave outstanding service guiding her team to numerous victories along with her sisters in what was a golden era for the club. She left everything on the field, attacking every break with full force determination, skill and an unquenchable appetite for victory.
There is no doubt that her memory will live long around Crowe Park and indeed throughout the county and further afield.
Away from the field of play Cecilia was a very hard worker when she spent many years in Liffey Meats and colleagues and friends have paid numerous tributes to one who lived and loved life to the full.

She was a dedicated and loyal wife to her beloved Gerry and family meant everything to her, she was always there for her brothers and sisters if needed and she was a brilliant aunt to her nieces and nephews. She was quick witted and always up for a laugh and the craic.
We extend our sincere sympathy to her heartbroken husband Gerry, her brothers Padraig (Sharon), Michael, Frankie (Olivia), and Gerard (Eimear); her sisters, her twin Maggie (Maggie P), Rosie (Adrian), and Susan (Seamus). Also sadly missed by her brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews Aidan, Gavin, Tiernan, Aoibhe, Grainne, and Mille Rose (goddaughter); aunts, uncles, cousins, neighbours, and many friends.
