Longford supermarket applies for permission to keep two extensions and signage

The application concerned extensions to the rear of Hanley's SuperValu in Granard

Hanley's SuperValu in Granard County Longford.

Hanley’s SuperValu in Granard have applied for permission to retain 2 single-storey extensions as well as signage at their retail premises on Barrack Street. 

The extensions in question are situated to the rear of the premises while the signage is located at the south-east elevation. 

The application, which was submitted yesterday, March 5, was made by Mircan Trading Ltd, the director of which was listed on the application as Mr William Hanley of Barrack Street, Granard.

According to the application, Mr Daire Browne, on behalf of J.A. Gorman Consulting Engineers and Project Managers in Mullingar has been appointed to oversee the planning application on behalf of the business.

Longford County Council is due to return a decision before April 29.
