Longford's Alannah McGuinness was among 1,300 graduates that received their parchments at the Dublin City University graduation ceremonies which took place in the Mahony Hall, The Helix on Friday, March 27.
Alannah, from Killoe, received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (General).

Speaking at the graduation ceremonies Prof Dáire Keogh, President of Dublin City University, said:
“Today is a special day, a day when we get to celebrate the very purpose of our University: the education and graduation of our students.
“We wish each of our graduates every success in the years to come as they make their contribution to the DCU mission ‘to transform lives and societies’.”
