The woman was conveyed to University Hospital Limerick for treatment of serious injuries. She was pronounced deceased yesterday evening.

There will be a charity fundraiser in the Longford Arms Hotel on Bank Holiday Easter Monday (April 6th) commencing at 8pm when a host of local artists, including the headline act Dermot Hegarty, come out in memory of Paschal Flaherty who passed away before Christmas.
Paschal was a great Longford Town supporter all his life and he always went out of his way to help out the club in every way possible when entertaining the public along with his great friend Sean Hussey.
The total amount raised on the night will go to Hospice who were so good to Paschal and his family in his final days.
There will be lots of spot prizes etc. Be there on the night when we all remember our good friend Paschal.
